Beats Solo 2
Beats Solo 2 is the update model for the old Beats Solo, which was hugely popular on the market some time ago. Coming with some incremental upgrades, Beats Solo 2 has quickly captured some attention. Beats Solo 2 is a pair of wired on-ear headphones. The design causes the earcups to be somewhat small. As the effect, the earcups tend to press onto your ears, but you should not worry because the ear cups are very soft and comfortable. Beats Solo 2 is also streamlined for a custom-fit. Beats Solo 2 does not have active noise cancellation. Instead, the earcups play the key role in attenuating ambient noise from the outside world. The pair of headphones is fine-tuned to deliver exceptional clarity, breadth, and balance of sounds. Another fun thing about Beats Solo 2 is that it is very rugged and durable – it is even foldable, allowing for easy storage and travel. Beats Solo 2 comes with a carrying case for your convenience and a RemoteTalk cable, which features in-line controls and microphone for taking calls easily. (Read also: Beats Solo 2 Vs Mixr)
Beats Executive, unlike Beats Solo 2, is a pair of over-the-ear headphones. Which means, the earcups are large enough to surround and cover your ears. The soft ear cushions will allow you to enjoy hours of listening comfort. Beats Executive is crafted to provide crisp and accurate sounds, with clear highs, deep bass, and sonically true mids. Beats Executive is also foldable, coming with its own carrying case. In addition, it comes with two cable choices: a standard 3.5mm audio cable and a cable with in-line controls & mic. There are also ¼” adapter and airline adapter. Beats Executive has active noise cancellation, which is notably powerful to block even bus and airplane dins. Unfortunately, the noise cancellation needs to be turned on for Beats Executive to sound. The noise cancellation tends to cause some hiss in the sounds. Beats Executive also require two AAA batteries to work.
