The latest Amplifier + DAC from FiiO with a design which in my opinion is the most OK escorted throughout the previous reply FiiO products. FiiO Q1 using Texas Instrument PCM5102 as his brain and use Maxim Max97220 as the amplifier is chipset. Combined these two high-quality components that will produce a sound natural and lifelike sound. Power drive given E10 is large enough, could easily raise my DT250/250 and DT770/250 even though it must be set to high gain and volume level 5. In ability, the discussion is same with Fiio Q1 vs E11K. Bass itself there are 2 options, the bass boost is OFF and ON. With bass boost OFF, sound E10 tend to flat, fixed in the signature dark, with the balance that fits between the bass-mid-treble. The quality of the resulting good and once padded, rounded, deep, and not in rush invited music fast. Mid itself feels warm, do not forward any laid back. Grainless, quite thick and free of sibilance. High warm and very smooth, no impression of sharp at all. Cymbal sounds to sound off, very real, no symptoms even though the bass roll off ON though. High tend to be natural, not aggressive. The separation of good and tidy, each instrument separately feels clearer. The staging was not so wide, but the depth and layers very good.
Small amplifier from Fiio A3 (was Fiio E11k) has a solid Build quality of metal, size SL compact sound, combined with a warm, clear, analog, and padded bass makes a sound that is very enjoyable. On one side of the Fiio A3 is equipped with a rotary switch as a control power while control sounds at the top of the player. On the same side there are also switches the bass so that we can add big bass in accordance with your wishes and tastes. There is also a gain switch for extra volume. FiiO A3 has been equipped with a rechargeable battery has a capacity of 1400 mAh, battery capacity large enough it is able to survive up to 16 hours if used continuously, A3 also features a small LED as charging indicator. In terms of vocal, vocal produced sounds more clear and clean. Details of music also became more apparent, in addition naturally also less clean. Fade out sound effects or sounds that were heard to stay away as well, giving the sensation of listening to the song becomes more interesting.
