The 41W power amps allow the speaker to reach 108 dB max SPL handling, which means that it is slightly more powerful than M Audio BX5. In addition, it has a considerably wider frequency range. It is able to reach lower and higher frequencies. The performance is excellent across the response range; the bass is full and solid without muddling the mids and highs. The mids and highs are accurate, crisp, and clean. The treble is very detailed; you can feel the depth and ambiance in every recording.

JBL LSR305 is the winner of this battle. Compared to M Audio BX5, it looks better. It is also more powerful, with excellent bass, midrange, and treble. The room-friendly design is also very nice.
