On the other hand, JBL PRX715 is rather bigger and bulkier due to utilizing ferrite magnets. It features a 15” low-frequency driver and a 1.5” compression driver, with 90-degree x 50-degree nominal coverage. The housing is made of poplar plywood cabinets with the DuraFlex protective finish, and is equipped with a cloth-backed dent-resistant 16-gauge steel grille.

Performance
JBL PRX715 comes with a frequency response range of 58.1 Hz – 17.2 kHz, 136 dB maximum SPL handling, 750 Watts RMS and 1500 Watts peak power rating. Actually, the audio reproduction is very good. With such frequency response range, JBL PRX715 is able to deliver accurate and well-staged sounds. The lows, mids, and highs are full and accurate. The midrange and treble are especially crisp and clear. However, the bass is not very powerful. The volume levels also don’t go as loud as QSC K12.

Meanwhile, QSC K12 boasts 1000 Watts RMS and 2000 Watts peak power rating. It is certainly much more powerful than JBL PRX715. In addition, it has a frequency response range of 52 Hz – 18 kHz. The mids and highs are bright, crisp, and accurate. The bass is stronger.
