Choosing between Bluedio UFO and Bluedio R+, yet unable to make a choice? No worries. You can ease yourself now because you can find the detailed comparisons of the two models below. Bluedio UFO and Bluedio R+ are indeed very attractive products. They are both wireless pairs of headsets that boast for having astonishing sonic qualities. Even so, there are indeed special distinctions on each model that may cause to prefer one over the other.
Design and Build
Putting the two models side by side, we can immediately tell that they are very different. They are roughly of the same size, yet Bluedio R+ is slightly heavier (9.9oz vs. 7.4oz). On the good side, Bluedio R+ has a padded headband, so the slight weight increment may not cause so much of discomfort. In fact, Bluedio R+ is very comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, though, Bluedio R+ is not very rugged, so you may want to protect it from abuse. On the other hand, Bluedio UFO’s headband is not padded, but it features an Aluminum-Titanium alloy construction that is not only extremely sturdy, but also sleek and elegant-looking. Still, you should not abuse it, as the internal components are somehow delicate, but at least it is more durable.
In terms of output quality, we can say confidently that they are both awesome! They both feature the PPS8 eight-driver technology. With a frequency response range of 5 Hz – 25 kHz, they manage to deliver deep, powerful, and ultimately accurate and detailed true sounds. Every note is astonishingly reproduced. The bass performance is especially exceptional, very solid and full, while the midrange and treble stay articulate. You will be submerged in total immersion – a whole new level of audio experience.
However, Bluedio R+ is also constructed by using vacuum painting technique. It has three built-in settings with different tonal colors for you to choose from, helping you to achieve the desired sound effects.
As we have mentioned, Bluedio R+ comes with three tonal color settings. In addition, it also comes with a built-in memory card slot, which allows you to insert a Micro SD card directly and play music from there. Bluedio UFO lacks these features.
Nonetheless, they both are identical in a sense that they can operate wirelessly via Bluetooth. If they run out of battery, you can still use them by using the included audio cable to connect to your device. Their battery life is decent; they can provide up to 25 hours of continuous playback, or up to 1300 hours in standby mode. They each take about three hours to recharge.
