Bose QuietComfort 25 Vs Beats Solo 2

Are you confused in choosing between Bose QuietComfort 25 and Beats Solo 2? For sure, both are cool-looking. Both are pairs of headphones that are trendy and classy. Bose QuietComfort 25 comes from a famous series of headphones, loved by a lot of users for the superior noise isolation performance. On the other hand, Beats Solo 2 is a popular choice because it doesn’t just look great, it sounds great as well. Between the two, Beats Solo 2 is quite considerably more affordable than Bose QuietComfort 25. Which one should you get?

Beats Solo 2 is available in two variants, wired and wireless. The wired version is even more affordable, but the wireless version can be used wired as well whenever the battery runs low. Beats Solo 2 is available in a wide variety of colors, with a glossy outer surface but soft inner surface of the headband. The ear cups are quite thick and foamy, covered in a pleather material. However, Beats Solo 2 is on-ear, which means that the ear cups don’t surround the ears – they press on the ears instead.

On the other hand, Bose QuietComfort 25 is a pair of wired headphones. Available in three colors (triple black, black, and white), the headband is pleasantly padded to provide a decent comfort on the top of your head. Furthermore, Bose QuietComfort 25 is over-the-ear. The ear cups surround and envelop the ears, providing a very good sealing from the noise of the outside world. The ear cups are also covered with pleather, soft and comfy. (Read also: Bose QuietComfort 25 Vs Beats Studio)

One big strength of Bose QuietComfort 25 is the active noise cancellation feature. In addition to the sophisticated design, the mentioned feature is ready to serve whenever you need an extra power in noise isolation, say, when you need to be completely left unbothered in order to focus and concentrate – or when you simply want to relax, away from the outside environment. An AAA battery is required to power up the active noise cancellation as well as the Active EQ, which functions to automatically adjust the equalizer according to the track you play in order to deliver the optimum audio settings. However, the headphones can still be used without any battery, only the active noise cancellation and Active EQ that will be rendered unusable. It comes with inline remote and mic.

On the other hand, Beats Solo 2 comes with the RemoteTalk cable, which features inline remote and mic. Its acoustics are fine-tuned for breadth, clarity, and balance.
