This time, however, we are going to compare Bose SoundSport and Bose SIE2i. Considering that both models are designed for heavy duties, sports, and active, mobile lifestyles, choosing between these models can be tricky and confusing. To provide you some background information, Bose SIE2i is more expensive than Bose SoundSport, yet both are equally popular on the market, more or less. Let us take a look at each model!
You can already get Bose SoundSport with a budget around a hundred bucks, which is one of the reasons of Bose SoundSport’s extreme popularity. Even though it is relatively affordable, it boasts exceptional sonic performance. It is able to deliver deep, clear sounds, enhanced by exclusive TriPort technology for crisp and clean mids and highs along with solid, natural lows. Besides that, Bose SoundSport is designed for superb toughness. It has rugged cables, and it is entirely sweat and weather resistant. Hence, no need to worry about getting wet! It comes with three different sizes of Stay Hear tips that won’t slide off even though you are running fast, a clothing clip, and a carrying case.
Bose SIE2i may be a bit more pricey by a few tens of dollars, but it brings the good qualities of BoseSoundSport along with some changes. Bose SIE2i is also tonally balanced for crisp and clean treble as well as deep, solid bass. In terms of audio performance, the two models are largely equal. Bose SIE2i uses hydrophobic acoustic cloth material to provide sweat and weather resistance, so it is also very rugged. It has inline remote/mic controls. Checking the bundle, it comes with three pairs of Stay Hear tips and a clothing clip. However, instead of a carrying case, it comes with a Reebok fitness armband that you can use to hold your audio device during an exercise. In addition, it also comes with an extension cable, which is very handy when the earphones alone aren’t long enough to reach your gadget. That means more movement freedom!
